TAP-Openpit [Minesoft, Ltd.]

TAP-Openpit is a menu-driven software package for preliminary mineplanning and scheduling for mineral deposits that will be mined usingopen pit techniques. Applications programs are included for entry oftopography and other bounding conditions, definition of pit-slopegeometry, user-defined or automatic bench expansion, generating ultimatepits using floating cones, and reporting, of in-place and recoverablereserves. Pit geometry can be varied by bench, radial sector, zone, orrocktype. Cone modeling input parameters include slope geometry, gradecutoffs, blending constraints, and estimated block data.
